George, owner and executive chef of the renowned Ikaros Greek Restaurant, grew up surrounded by the comforting scents of freshly baked bread and zaatar, learning to bake alongside his mother and grandmother. At the café, he blends Greek heritage with a nod to Arabic culture, where coffee is more than a drink—it’s a symbol of hospitality, respect, and connection.
